I recognize that finding a therapist who is the right fit is important, as so much of the healing process is intrinsically linked to feelings of safety, connection, and trust.
I take a compassionate and integrative approach, utilizing different evidence-based therapies and techniques to best fit your needs and situation. My practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive, gender affirming, and culturally responsive.
I work with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, adult ADHD, shame, family conflict, issues relating to identity, self-acceptance, confidence building, and life transitions.
Most importantly, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and know that you can come as you are, be who you are, and openly share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
Prior to going into private practice, I worked as a therapist in outpatient, partial hospitalization, inpatient, and residential settings. I have also worked for the military, providing direct support to active-duty service members as a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Support Specialist.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a research assistant in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at Harvard University. I also spent many years working with survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence as an applied researcher, educator, and advocate. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies, from the University of Vermont.
